Project Highlights

This much-loved Northwest Coast sculpture at the Vancouver International Airport had areas of dirt, accretions, dents and abrasions due to years of public display.  It also had a non-artist coating that had turned opaque.  Cooperatively, our objects and paintings conservators cleaned the wood and the painted areas, infilled and inpainted abrasions and chips.  The coating was not removable, but it was clarified by solvent with scant conservation resin.
