Objects and Sculpture

Our objects conservators have post-graduate conservation degrees and experience with conservation of objects for public and private collections. The goal of our object treatments is to improve appearance and stability while retaining cultural, historic, artistic and financial value.

Cultural artifacts, fine and contemporary art objects are conserved (cleaned, repaired, restored, stabilized and preserved) in our lab or on-site.  We have the materials and equipment necessary to carry out a wide range of treatments to small and large objects.  Our lab has significant experience in pest elimination in art and objects, including the use of anoxic treatments.

We are museum-trained, adhering to conservation ethics and standards of practice to ensure that cultural, historic and artistic character is preserved while improving stability and appearance.  As a multi-specialty lab, we have access to a myriad of equipment and conservation supplies to undertake high quality conservation treatments.  With our team approach, we are particularly suited to treatment of mixed media and contemporary art objects.

Our conservators can design and fabricate storage housings including bespoke storage mounts and storage and preservation boxes for museum objects and objects in private collections.  In some cases, these can also function as display mounts.
