Clients & Projects

Our conservators preserve and restore works of art and archival material for private and public collectors.

We are ready to assist in the preservation, repair and restoration of all media – from individual family treasures to large corporate and public collections. We will also work on-site at your location to stabilize, repair or restore larger or installed art and collections.

For private collectors and public institutions, we have carried out comprehensive condition surveys to determine the conservation needs of objects. Our firm has also completed over 25 conservation assessments for museum and corporate collections, analyzing condition and preservation factors (policies, procedures, facility, light, climate, pests, storage, display and disaster preparedness) and offering recommendations for maintenance procedures and improvements that will enhance the longevity and value of the collection. For artists, archives, collectors and museums, we have taught workshops on conservation topics.

For the insurance industry, we have examined art and archival objects to assess the degree of damage or loss and the extent of restoration possible. In the unfortunate case of disaster, our team has participated in salvage and response operations, and recovered and restored water, fire and earthquake damaged materials in our lab. Believing that prevention is paramount, our conservators have written or assisted the compilation of disaster preparedness plans for museums, archives and art galleries.

The following is a partial list of clients for whom our conservators have provided consultation services or conservation lab treatments.
